What you need to do
If you are planning to travel to and work in Australia you must first contact the Australian Government Department of Immigration and Border Protection. You can find all the information to establish if you are eligible to work in Australia at their website at www.immi.gov.au/Pages/Welcome.aspx
You then need to contact the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency to determine if your nursing qualification is recognised in Australia and if so to commence your application for Australian registration.

Before you can work in Australia as a registered nurse or Midwife you must first be registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority. You can find all you need to know about how to qualify and register in Australia here www.ahpra.gov.au or www.nursingmidwiferyboard.gov.au

Once you have established you eligibility to work in Australia you can contact us via our online Registration Form.
Interviews in the UK
If you wish to have an interview whilst our staff are in the UK please contact us using the online Registration Form.
We will contact you to arrange a suitable time for interview.
You will need to provide the following:

Your personal details – Name, Address, telephone numbers

A copy of your CV

Proof of your identification

Your Australian nursing registration certificate (AHPRA) and local registration if you have one

Your original qualification(s) and proof of any additional qualifications

Your banking details
-
Your Australian Tax File Number (TFN) if you have one

Your superannuation fund details
-
Proof of mandatory training completed

During your interview you will also be required to perform a basic competency test related to your area of nursing
